Jenny McCarthy’s Negative Statements Discourage Millions from Taking Vaccine Against Deadly Diseases

Jenny McCarthy

Ever since Jenny McCarthy mentioned on the popular Larry King Live show in the year 2008 about her Evan, her son’s autism being caused by child vaccines, she has been facing the heat from many parents apart from doctors. Way back then, she stated that – “vaccinations triggered Evan’s autism,” but in the latest publishing of Chicago Sun times in the new column, she insists that she sure is “pro-vaccine,” but she has little faith in the “one size fits all” schedule.

In the column that was published on the 12th of April, she wrote, “For years, I have repeatedly stated that I am, in fact, ‘pro-vaccine’ and for years I have been wrongly branded as ‘anti-vaccine.”

Jenny believes that parents must be able to take a decision by themselves instead of relying upon childhood vaccination schemes that Health Organizations give out for different age groups.

For many years, Jenny was attacked for her statements but after months of silence, 41 years old Jenny has chosen to speak on the topic again. She wrote – “For my child, I asked for a schedule that would allow one shot per visit instead of the multiple shots they were and still are giving infants.”

She mentioned that she’s passionate about conversations discussing improvement of healthcare for children. She believes that it’s an extremely vital discussion and she’s dumbfounded that these conversations are negated because “the answers are not black or white.” She further added – “Again I ask, what happened to critical thinking?”

Jenny has no formal medical training or degree, but she firmly believes that she and other parents will surely know better than doctors regarding how their wards can be protected from contracting diseases and some fatal ones like chicken pox and polio.
